So I Tagged to SB for Econ, but I am not registering for different classes that are listed on my TAG. (This is after UC app Update. The classes I will be taking for Spring quarter will not be the same as the one’s listed on my Tag. None of these classes are even required because I will be done with the IGETC and all of my major courses by the end of this quarter. Will my TAG be void because of this? Does SB even care about Spring quarter? Anyone have a similar experience to share? Any help is much appreciated.

Why not contact UCSB and ask them?
I switched a class for spring too and they said it was fine. I just have to mention it in my additional comments on my application.
Always be cautious and e-mail them about it. You may think it’s nothing, but I’d much rather be safe than sorry.
I made a note in my additional comments, and I changed the courses on my academic update for spring. Thanks guys!
Someone in a Davis TAG thread had basically the same question and wondered if they should contact the school to let them know or just list the correct classes you’re taking and make a note of it in the Additional Comments section, and apparently the counselor said they don’t have to call and inform them and that making a note of it in the comments section is sufficient. My TAG counselor also confirmed this. Although that was for Davis, but I feel like it generally is the same deal for other UCs.
