Ucsb tag?

I'm planning on tagging to UCSB for fall 2013. Major is Biopsychology.
I understand the IGETC is required for tag. But what Pre major classes ARE REQUIRED TO GET ACCEPTED THROUGH TAG for my major? Because i understand their are pre major requirements, but are their specific classes i need for my major so that my TAG is accepted?
HELP PLEASE i dont get this

[Welcome to ASSIST](http://www.assist.org) put in UCSB, your school, and biopsychology.

http://www.admissions.ucsb.edu/pdf/UCSB%20Fall%202012-13%20TAG.pdf</a>
It looks like you need to finish all of the courses on assist to get accepted assuming that major is in the College of Letters and Science.

does that mean if i don’t finish ALL the courses listed on assist that my tag my be canceled?
because it looks to me like i wont have the physics, and ochem sequences done. But everything else i will

You don’t need to finish all your major pre-reqs to get accepted

However, you need:

  1. Minimum of 60 UC-transferable units done by the end of Spring 2013
  2. Minimum 3.2 GPA
    etc

I have gotten to opposing viewpoints…
Can anyone else add? I am so confused!

Did you read the whole agreement that Nitole gave you? Read it end to end if you haven’t yet. Each college/major has it’s own requirements for TAG, you must meet all of them.

“For the College of Letters and Science TAG, majors in Biological Science and Economics, as well as Computer Science, B.A. require completion of specific major preparatory course work. Major preparation articulation agreements including the minimum required community college courses can be found at [Welcome to ASSIST](http://www.assist.org) under the “By Major” agreements between UCSB and California community colleges. Major preparation requirements are subject to change without notice. Students who do not complete all required preparation courses will not be admitted to the selected major and may not be considered for an alternate major.”

Is it the same thing for UCSC neuroscience?

Look it up. Each college/major has it’s own requirements for TAG and you must meet all of them. That link was UCSB’s agreement for last year. Read the whole TAG agreement for each UC you might TAG too.
