Hi everyone, my name is Naomi and I was accepted into UCSB for Art and UC Davis for Design. I am having a hard time deciding where to attend for several different reasons. I have visited UCD but not UCSB. I really liked UCD when I visited it and like the calm environment; however, I like to socialize and and enjoy the party scene as well. I hear there is more to do at UCSB, but am worried that Isla Vista might be too distracting. Also I am a bit worried about the heat at UCD and currently live next to the ocean so I feel I might be more at home at UCSB. Davis is only 3-4 hours away from home, whereas SB is about 8-9. I guess i’m just looking for some input to make my decision easier, I know they are both good schools but would appreciate some more information about either of them. How do their art departments compare? etc… Any input helps, thanks!
