Students Admitted for Fall
If all application materials including items on your “To Do List” are received by mid-April, every effort is made to post Official Aid Offers on MyUCSC by the deadline to accept your offer of admission for fall quarter:

May 1 for first year students, and

June 1 for transfer students.

just wondering but how come you guys didn’t do tag ? are there requirements that are not worth it ??

Greetings to all! I applied to ucsc and even filled out a TAG agreement as well but I still have yet to hear from them but a close friend got accepted yesterday . Just wondering if there’s a certain order on how they send out admission decisions, ie most qualified to least qualified? And are admissions only sent out until 9am that day like how some other uc schools are doing it?? Please enlighten me!

I called UCSC yesterday in regards to me not receiving my admissions decision either. The women I spoke with said the majority of the students have not received their transfer decisions yet and to keep checking in the next couple days. But she also said that they will keep make decisions up to April 30th (I believe this is the exact date)

This is brand new to me!!! I just want to see the acceptance list. If this qualifies for a post–than good!!

I’m having trouble logging in to check my status. I click forgot password, then enter my UCSC ID. Everything is fine until I enter my UC Application ID number, when it says it doesn’t match the one on my profile. Ahhhh what to do.

Accepted!

Major: Technology Information Management
GPA:3.2

Nice to have my second choice but I want UCI!

after calling ucsc admissions the guy told me notifications will be sent out at midnight every day and almost half the transfer notifications are sent out. so only check your portals once a day basically from what he said unless some of you have got admissions notifications mid-day?

@Gobertjones Appreciate the info. The women I spoke with stated it a little different but basically the same. But now I know just to check it once a day because recently I have been getting a little obsessive about checking the status of the schools I’ve applied to.

Thanks for all the info. This makes me feel a lot better. Good luck to those, like me, who still have not heard from them yet.

woohoo! cant wait to be a banana slug!

3.3 GPA
Chemistry Major
Accepted

still havent heard… =[

me neither…same with UCR also…its starting to look grimm

so glad I stayed up again so I could have absolutely no change in my application status. I don’t know if it is the lack of sleep, or the culmination of months of nerves, but I am a little ****ed off…Anyone else on the same boat?

yep yep we’re sitting in the same boat, I haven’t heard from ucsc either, but I’m pretty sure I’m not going there anyways so at this point I don’t really care.

@uber im totally with you on this one…its really getting old checking the portals of all the UCs I’ve applied to only to see no changes. I dont know if this is an indication of not being accepted but I would truely wish if that were the case it would happen sooner rather than later. Therefore, I wouldnt waste my time checking my status all the time and feeling on edge about my academic future. Theres my rant for the night…

Anyone hear today yet? I’m about to just check in another week if I don’t hear by tomorrow. It’s getting old checking my portals so much!

I was Finally accepted into UCSC tonight. I am so excited.

Congrats uber! That’s huge.
