<p>Does anyone know the approximate percentage that UCSC admits after appealing? Which of the UC's is easiest to appeal to?</p>
<p>UC Santa Cruz's appeal acceptance is about 7%. However they had an overall acceptance of 80% of the applicants, so if you are going to appeal make sure you give some compelling information that would make you a great UC student</p>

<p>my kid got in to UC Sta Cruz on appeal. </p>

Appealed - was denied.
Then - yesterday we rec’d an email stating that UCSC had a few spots open, would my kid still be intererested. So - yes!! She’s in.</p>

<p>I just got an email from the admissions office saying that now the deadline of May 1st has passed they found that they have room to offer me admission for the fall! I’m a little lost though because I previously had turned in an SIR for UCR because I didn’t want to be left without a College to go to…What do I do?</p>
<p>The best thing to do would be to contact their admissions office and explain the situation.</p>
