That is amazing though, congratulations to you! All UC’s overall are very good, and UCSC has been getting high rankings lately for their research. The area UCSC is in gives lots of opportunities with the tech industry, and even their partnership with NASA, which made me fall even more in love with the school!

No…um…I heard last year decision still release after 1 May.
@brpere1175 That’s what it says on the portal, but then there’s students last year who didn’t hear back until start of May :\
I just want to know if today is for sure the last day because I’m back refreshing like it’s March 17th all over again haha.
I haven’t even been checking regularly because I got into UCLA. Rejected from Berkeley 
I checked today and still nothing. I don’t really care because I SIR’d to UCLA …but it would’ve been nice to know hahaha

Application status message updated, but still no decision
Now the wait is extended to no later than May 5th due to an increase in transfer applications.
Uggghhh.
they are so full of crap. As if no other school had to go throught what they are. They have had until november and they def do not take the students life into consideration. Making students wait for a very long time is mot right especially when they keep changing the dates on us. First it was some date in march then they changed it to say from that date in march until the end of april and now it is extended once more
And they couldn’t even take the time to proof read the new status message, “Our evaluation of will conclude no later than May 5.”
I can’t even begin to understand the application process. My guess is they delay it to see what school’s other students got into, and if they SIR’d anywhere before they admit more, since I read somewhere that all UC’s can see this information. But who knows.
they actually waited until the last day to post that message. Like they couldnt just have the courtisy to post it earlier so mome of us have to wait and hope until the last day

it is possible that because some of my credit is not transferable, so doesn’t meet the minimum 60. Consider moving to cc in CA for 2 quarter right now, this may be one of my option.
