I don’t have my FA either. IDK why ucsc slacking with everything, this is really discouraging me from attending there.
Have any environmental studies/science majors heard back yet? I have been lurking this page for a while trying to see my chances lol. I would reeaallyy prefer if I heard back from UCSC before the 30th so I can have a little buffer to decide where I want to go amongst the other places I got accepted to.
so I got the same email as everyone else today wanting me to attend with a useless major. I am a comp sci major with a 3.07. I thought I had all pre-reqs done but they said I did not. I double checked assist and it seems like I had everything. Weird school…guess i am going to csulb. Good luck all
no @adehini lots of mistakes happen - I advise you to call admissions tomorrow and ask them what you are missing, there could be an error, if you indeed are not missing anything they may change their mind!! You need to verify this information with them on the phone. Please call tomorrow and have them look up your app and explain that you are not missing anything. Find out which class they think you are missing.
@philosophyCAL I did earlier today. They said I was missing data structures although it is not listed as required anywhere I could find. i checked assist and it does not mention the class. Either way it is not offered at my CCC so I couldn’t have done much. TBH I was debating between UCSC and CSULB they just made my decision easier haha.

I contacted admissions and they said they haven’t even reviewed my application yet. It’s not cool to drag people on like this after giving a mid-March release date. I’ve already been accepted to UCSB, UCI, UCD which makes me think they’re trying to protect their yield by delaying high GPA students who might consider them a safety school.
