Hey guys,

I have been accepted by UCI, UCM, and UCSC as a transfer students for computer engineering. I currently live about 35-40 minutes away from UCSC, and about 2 hours away from UCM.

I plan on going to the pre-med route after finishing the last couple years at one of the UC's, so GPA is definitely an important factor.

Because of finals coming up, I haven't had a chance to visit any of the campuses yet.

I haven't heard much about UCM's and UCSC's engineering department, I have tried to do research on them, but because of the recent openings of both engineering departments, there isn't much data out.

UCI on the other hand is really far away, and has a pretty decent engineering department from what I have been researching online.

Could anyone please give me any input to these universities? Perhaps experience in the engineering department, professors, campus life, and the best choice in your opinion?

BTW, I like places where student life is active, I would probably like to join a modest fraternity (if there is one haha), join a pre-med club of some sort, and a honors club...ect.

Thanks :D
