UCSD accepted me but I received a D in first semester AP Calculus AB

Dude - do yourself a huge favor and call or email each of the UCs that accepted you. The others on the board are right. It’s the only way to really know what they will do. If all 3 bounce you, at least you’ll have time to make alternate plans.
good luck.

I have every intention of informing them. I just want to know as much information as I can so I can prepare myself or hopefully give myself a slight advantage. Thank you everyone.

Here’s a sample script. “I am in a situation that I am committed to rectifying if at all possible. I need to let you know that I got a D in my first semester of AP Calculus AB. I very much want to attend UCSD and wondering if I could discuss my options for ensuring that I can attend this fall.” Be prepared to offer online classes, summer school at a cc, or whatever they might suggest.

see Error;

Look at these statistics. It may be that you will already be cancelled. So might as well find out now, and take alternate path.

@rgosula only a small fraction of students who were rescinded were rescinded for poor grades in their senior year though. I had my friend who went to the admissions office amd inquired about their policy for rescind and thrle admissions officer said if they rescind a student for poor grades its usually more than 1 D

i give up

@rgosula im sorry. I just dont want to lose hope

OP, just make the call. You might be right. You might not be rescinded.

Call.

I will have no further comments until you do.
