Does anyone know the average GPA of in-state students who get admitted to UCSD and UCLA?

Based on the UC Freshman Profile for 2014::
UCLA: Average UC GPA was 4.17
UCSB: Average UC GPA was 4.13

@Gumbymom isn’t that including OOS students though? I believe UCs are more selective for out of state students?

Admitted OOS students usually have higher stats, but I not aware of any published data specifically for UCLA and UCSD. I have only seen a breakdown of OOS and International applicants on UCB’s website.
Yes the UC’s are more selective for OOS applicants since as an OOS applicant, the minimum UC GPA required to apply is 3.4 while in-state is 3.0.
