hey, guys! I got my UCSD acceptance letter for pre-bio-engineering: pre-med. However, I'm starting to worry because the letter says that people in this major will be re-screened for this specific major. What are your thoughts? My stats are:

Ecological Biology
Score: 590
Mathematics Level 2 (formerly Math IIC)
Score: 620
U.S. History
Score: 640

Extra Curriculars:
ASB president, KEY Club four years, KEY Club officer for two, NHS member two years, Red Cross Club officer for one, 2 years Water polo (1 year JV captain and one other on varsity), Leadership four years, and a whole bunch more. And I worked at a pet shop to 'learn more about animal biology,' if that means anything lol.

I think many majors are pre-screened. All this means is that you're admitted into pre-"your major" and then officially admitted to the major after you take some introductory courses. No one is fully accepted immedietely; it's normal and everyone starts as the pre-major.

Actually, I misread what was posted above. I'm not familiar with the re-screening process.

re-screen is just for whatever is specifically listed on the paper (correct me if I'm wrong.) So, does UCSD have wireless internet throughout the whole campus?
