As a transfer student who was in your shoes two years ago, I just want to remind you guys that a rejection does not define you. I had a 4.2 GPA, 5 AP classes, and tons of extra-circulars but it wasn’t enough to get me into any of the UC’s I applied to. I was devastated and beyond sad, ended up going to community college. But here I am, 2 years later and awaiting UC admission decisions again. Don’t give up. If you were rejected, it’s not the end of your life or academic career! You have a bright future ahead of you!

@yalehopeful017 I don’t think that should be an issue. I didn’t fill out any financial aid forms either, including the FAFSA, and my Regents notification still showed up in the My Financial Aid Estimate section. Does anyone else who didn’t apply for financial aid have input on this?

I also received a Chancellor’s Scholarship for $5k a year for four years. Does anyone know approximately how many people receive this?
