When people say some colleges at UCSD are harder than others, are they referring to the lower division GE requirements?

Why does the school matter for transfers? For example, if I get accepted as a Poli Sci major wouldn't I only need to take upper division courses for my major regardless if I was at Muir or Marshal?

You can try going directly to UCSD’s website and searching. It would take a lot longer though. I’m sure there is a summary available somewhere on the internet.

Yea the difference is in the general ed requirements. Revelle and Eleanor Roosevelt are known for having the most, while Muir and Marshall are known for having the least. Im in Marshall and IGETC pretty much covers all GE requirements. I only have to take 2 upper division GE’s. Revelle and some of the other colleges have alot more GE requirements. The reason why Muir is so popular amongst incoming students is because its closest to the beach and has very few GE requirements for incoming transfers and freshman.
