<p>polarman....cal poly is beautiful! I live in SLO. You can't beat the area...10 minutes from the gorgeous central coast. Students know how to have fun, but are extrememly academic...if I hadn't grown up here it would be my first choice!</p>

<p>But does having 3 different Scores worng make grounds for an appeal</p>
<p>1) My reported SAT I had the wrong date so it conflicted with one that was official</p>
<p>2) My reproted SAT II had the wrong date so it looked like I took four tests (if you include the SAT I that had the wrong date above) in one month which is not plausible</p>
<p>3) And lastly they did not even have my most recent Official Test score which is what I was stating in 1)</p>
<p>So basically a lot of things are screwed up.</p>
<p>Again anybody think thats grounds for an appeal.</p>
<p>Or if I go to UCI is tranfering necessarily easier to UCSD?</p>

<p>Haha, as of rite now its between SLO and UCI for me also. But I`m choosing UCI over SLO, but I have to wait for UCB (my dream school). Congrats to everyone who got into SD!</p>

<p>I didn't get in. How do we ask for the reasons why we didn't get in? I was WAY above last year's points AFTER I notified them of my mom's income from last year. Before that, I was very borderline. I want to know if they reviewed my application with that letter in consideration. UCSB accidentally entered my letter as a "application cancellation" before I called them about it, so I need to know if UCSD didn't count my letter either.</p>
<p>My score from last years was around 8200, the cutoff last year was about 7450, im in disbelief!</p>
<p>Presidentoor - On my UCSD website, they messed up my scores as well, repeating everything twice and in my reported scores, giving me scores for tests I never took. I still got into UCSD (as well as UCLA and some others) and so sadly, I don't think that would be grounds for an appeal.. = (</p>

<p>in for psychology at marshall. definitely la over sd since muir was my first choice, and then warren was my second. who knows where marshall came from.</p>

<p>kiss, the only difference i know is that la is pre-psych, and sd is psych. you have to do prerequisites (sp?) for la as a pre-psych major, and when you fulfill them then you petition to get into the psych major.</p>

<p>is majoring in general bio not good enough for pre-med? at the time i was completing my UC app I failed to seriously consider other majors with the word bio in it like biotech, biomedical eng: premed, Micrbi, Im & Mol Gen (pre), and Human Biology. I'm freaking out, now, is Gen Bio not even competitive? i guess i didn't want to limit myself by picking such a picky sounding major....</p>
