irock1ce - But nothing in my scores was necessarily repeated, they were either mis-reproted or nto reproted at all when in fact they actually exit. I rpinted out my application and referred back to it to see that on the Printed protion my scores are correct. But what it says on the website is far from correct.

Accepted to Marshall, general biology!! I REALLY did not expect to make it in. I'm beyond surprised right now.

Apart from the sciences, is UCSD strong in any other majors?

who haven't gotten a decision yet?.... I'm one of em.

For the Impaced Majors like Engineering i thought that it would take an extra one -two weeks to be accepted into those programs. Or at this point have they not come out with those decisions.

holy crap!!! i got in!

comp science in sixth college!!!
i was giving up hope on ucsd and ucb after rejection from ookla and was limiting my choices btwn ucd, uci, and cal poly slo. i actually have convinced myself the ucd is the place i wanna go..damn now i got to rethink everything.....oh well its a GOOD damn.....haha!

did anyone have a problem where one of the self reported scores was not under the official test scores...you guys think that could have had an effect on admissions. So far Im considered rejected.

UC GPA: 3.64
SAT1:1360
SAT2 math/writing/physics: 780 740 740
Well written(but kinda cheezy essays)
Very Strong EC's and community service
Ap scores: 5,4

That is exactly my problem one of my self scores is not under official. I WAS rejected I am thinking of appealing but don't knwo where it would lead me.

hm anyone else get accepted for winter quarter 2006? i got into warren/undeclared.
Admission to Winter Quarter means that you met UCSD's admissions criteria. However, your admission ranking score fell slightly below the cut-off point to fill our limited Fall Quarter spaces.

if so...would you still go? winter quarter 2006 starts in january, so i would have to wait one quarter. also, no guaranteed on-campus housing...but perhaps going to ucsd will benefit me in the long run. and don't get me wrong, i'm grateful that i at least got accepted, but i still want to think this through. any input would be appreciated! =D

Are you a transfer?

nope, i'm a senior in high school right now.

missj that happened to someone from last yr too and they were kinda annoyed cuz they had top scores:

scroll down, their username was yackityyack

D in with 3.45 uw, 1370 SAT , Captain of the good ship lollypop (I mean Speech and Debate, Mock Trial) T M communications

He ended up happy at UCI so that should be something positive for those of you so dissapointed by your #1 school.

There are far worse things than not getting to go fall term if this is your school of choice. I've seen kids go to lesser colleges because it was just too painful not to leave in Sept. like most everyone else. Big mistake, keep your eye on th ball. A few months is a blip and these are largely commuter schools where you won't be missing the freshmen class bonding experience.

so wierd...I got rejected. But under official scores my sat2 physics isnt there. Its under self-reported. You think they treated me like an applicant that didnt finish a third subject requirement? I emailed them but not sure what to do. Any advice? That would rock if they left it in and it got me into sd...but ya slim chances

appeal then.

E-mailing them is no use what so ever...I did it March 3rd and didn't get a repyl so I figured I would just wiat till I was accepted and see what happens. Being rejected I find now I have to act by calling them.

how do i find out?

its okie coolman25 , i know how you feel

Hey Guys what is the difference between the colleges?

I just put Thurgood Marshall as my first choice because he is a personal hero of mine. I was chosen to be in the Thurgood Marshall college for Poli Sci (Like I wished). What's the difference?

well i got in...my official and self-reported scores were all there, but the dates were screwy. something of concern???
