I am a transfer student and I have been accepted to both schools (UCI and UCSD) as an electrical engineer. I plan to work with the government to design radars someday. I am planning to pursue a masters degree in electrical engineering and possibly a double or minor in computer science. Does it matter which campus I go to to get a B.S since I'm headed for grad school? Which campus can provide me with more opportunities and internships that relate to my career interest? Which campus would be easier for an electrical engineer? Should I base my decision off my preference of campus environment?

If you plan to work with the government one day then I suggest San Deigo. I say this because San Diego has alot of defense industry because its a navy town. More opportunities for internships that are related to your career goals. Neither would be easier academic wise. You’re an Engineering major and it doesnt matter what school in the country you go to, its no cake walk anywhere.

computer science is under jacobs school of engineering, which has a rule forbidding double majors in engineering, so you cannot double in ee and cs. not sure about the minor though

I don’t think you can get a double degree in CS and EE since they’re both in Engineering, though you can probably do EE and Math/CS joint major
