Edit: that housing app may have to do with freshman? Also pretty sure the housing trick from a couple years ago was fixed, unfortunately.

Have you tried the off-campus housing thing I posted about earlier? I think it’s another “housing trick” but a less known one. I saw a thread about it from 2016. (http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-california-san-diego/1868531-ucsd-admissions-housing-trick.html)

@hellosir The trick was disproven on reddit. Some freshmens had the generated email and did not get in.
@doihaveashot2016 @ald6191 ERC is hard AF because even as transfer student, you will have to take 3 MMW classes (Writing) and those writing classes are known to be a killer. Where as Sixth College, all I had to do was to take CAT 125 (Easy A) and a Practicum class (EASY Class). Practicum class usually gets waived if you have engineering major, bio, or chem or pretty much any class that requires lab or anything hands on.

@anxious65 @blackonyx Hey guys! As far as last year goes, not so much. There was that small batch in the beginning of March and then the huge gap until April 22nd (last year). The server last year went down a couple times in April but they were all false alarms until the huge batch release on April 22nd. That’s why everyone is predicting April 21st for this year!

Expecting to get into UCSC and UCD for sure. Not sure about UCSD and UCB. I really wanna go to UCSD though.
Does anyone know how hard it is to switch majors at UCSD? I applied as a theater major but I would like to switch to undeclared humanities/arts or speculative design B.A.
I don’t think it’s that hard if the major you’re trying to switch into is not capped and you have all the pre-reqs done for that major. I know that switching to a capped major is basically impossible for transfers though.
