@AndrewTruong get on your UCI portal and go in the message center. Send your counselor a message explaining the current situation so they can guide you. UCI won’t retract your admission right away but if you fail to meet the requirements for admission they outlined, then you’ll be reviewed again by the admissions committee. This means it’s 50/50. Do your best to pass!! Speak to your professor if possible, go to tutoring. Good luck.

Last year’s transfers heard back on the 21st? I was wondering why that date kept on being tossed around.

@thinkweism im very certain that the answer is yes to both of your questions. Other than them releasing some decisions in mid-march, yes. some people posted a few days after but they didnt specify if they heard that day or the 22nd.
@phil067 How interesting, thanks for the info! I only ever remembered freshman admission decisions from way back when I applied straight out of high school, haha. Either way, fingers crossed we hear good news in another week and a half or so.
@Princetonian9 Not sure if UC system is different but summer session at the CSU’s don’t offer financial aid unless you have leftover grant money from fall and/spring semesters.
When are we going to hear back? Praise the Sun god for it to be next Friday. Already got in UCSB and UCSC as Econ major with a 3.63 GPA, 3.61 major GPA. Good luck to you all! Also I hope to do a three year masters program at UCSD anyone have insights on that? Thx.
I’m pretty sure decisions come out next Friday, the 21st. According to past years’ threads they came out on that Friday each year. So excited! Can’t wait for everyone to hopefully become tritons! :!! :D/

I saw that many people were accepted as "undeclared "
I wanted to know how do they decide who gets in as an "undeclared ". Like someone who’s a great candidate but doesn’t meet both majors prereqs or what? Thanks
@loyalfan49 Freshmen can get accepted as undeclared, but usually junior transfers need to put something down I think… Are you sure that was a transfer stat?
@loyalfan49 You saw someone get accepted as Undeclared on this thread? I don’t think that UCs accept transfers as Undeclared majors (unless you declare Undeclared on your application, which is not common for Transfers). The scenario of a student applying as a specific major but being accepted as undeclared only happens to Freshman.
