@dtretyak Did you complete IGETC, finish all of your prereqs, and have 60+ UC transferrable units (**Note that a lot of CC classes are not transferrable. Check TAP or ASSIST if you’re unsure. TAP is easiest.) planned to be finished before the end of this semester? That doesn’t sound right.
Did you not write essays, or severely mess them up (e.g. excessive mistakes, ridiculous topics, profanity, etc.)?
I guarantee that one of those requirements is unfulfilled. If they’re all done, then UCSD messed up. I’d call admissions if you think this was a mistake based on the aforementioned standards.

@lexluther96 I’m an out of state student, but my IGETC was completed and my university didn’t offer a few of the prereqs which was the issue. Most of my credits were transferrable but my advisors here are completely useless. It’s fine, I just need to see what UCLA and Berkeley say, but they’re even harder to get into than UCSD…
Rejected 3.52 when I applied. 3.48 after fall quarter. Admits then wait list and then rejections for future references.
@dtretyak Ooooh, okay. That’ll do it unfortunately Only 7% of acceptance are OOS applicants. That’s too bad! With that said, I have a friend who didn’t do very well in high school, went to U of Oregon, and then transferred to UCB last year. There is hope!! Good luck!

@lexluther96 that was my plan- my issue is that my university doesn’t offer my major, so I’m trying to figure out what to do now. My HS grades were bad because I moved all over the world, but I’ve made Deans list at my university every quarter up until the fall when I had to deal with some stuff…
anyways… time to at least try and appeal the decision
