UCSD Financial Aid Appeal [HELP]

<p>I recently reviewed my financial aid package for my sophomore year at UCSD and realized that all my grants in aid were missing. After calling the Financial Aid office I was told I turned in my FAFSA late and was ineligible for any grants. I was told my only option was to appeal. (I realize how late I am and that I should have realized this MUCH earlier)
The UCSD billing date is two days away and although I'm sending my appeal in today, what are my chances of getting my grants approved?? Will they simply say no because I;m a second year and should know better?? </p>

<p>OMG same thing happened to me. I found out on Monday and they just told me to email them an appeal, is that what you did!!! I am also SUPER worried cus I missed out on all the larger grants. I don’t really know what our chances are either because we are filing an appeal so LATE! The lady told me they won’t start looking at appeals until October.</p>
