UCSD has posted decisions online why hasn't UCM done so for transfer students?

Hello everyone just wondering how come UCSD has our decisions faster than UCM? I don't understand why a low tier UC like Merced is taking so long and a good UC like San Diego has our decisions already? I am kind of puzzled on all this because I expected merced to be the easiest school to get into, but I guess they are probably tougher or maybe unexpectedly this probably means a rejection. what does everyone think?

I think UCM is just taking a longer time at reviewing applications. Also I believe that they also sometimes receive some applications after the deadline has passed. That's just my guess...

Hey MakeBank thanks for the info. I thought the process goes by least tier UC's to the best one's. which one's you applied for? and whats your major?

No, it doesn't go by that. It really depends on how many spots they are able to accomodate and each school tends to have their own deadline. Yet some deadlines also fall on others sometimes.

Well I have not yet applied to any of the UC's since I'm a current freshmen, I will be applying for Fall 10'. I'm majoring in Business Administration or Economics depending on the universities I will be applying to (NYU, USC, UNC, UC Berkeley, UCLA, UCSD, and UCI).
