When will uc merced decisions come out for transfer students?

hello everyone good morning, I was wondering when do UCM decisions come out for transfer students? I find it quite weird that I hear people talk about UCR and UCI get their decisions in early march or are we talking about freshman applicants? Maybe its a policy they have on not putting decisions this early. does anyone have info on this?

I can't stand CC anymore it's 90% idiotic and immature responses like this now.

I find it is best to just ignore the pitifully obvious jabs of the trolls.

I too am waiting for a UCM response, but unfortunately I don't know when they are going to start coming out.

Posc yeah its strange because usually the UCM decisions should be out. I dont know why some people here get upset with questions being asked but hello?? we're all trying to get into a university, and celebrate you know. supposedly UCi AND UCR are better schools than merced and I ve met some transfer students who are admitted already. anyways, I wish you luck, and hopefully we cna get into the University of Merced!

Didn't UCM have like a 90% acceptance rate? or something like that.

I know, but my question is why did UCI and UCR some people got admitted already? UCM should be first school I would assume, but isnt. what do you think is the main reason?

they're probably overloaded with applications this year. I wouldn't be surprised if the admissions process is screwed up for all the schools in some way or another.

what is going on? has anybody been admitted to the University califronia of Merced as a transfer student???

To be brutally honest, I don't know why any transfer student would bother applying to UCM because it's still a fairly new school in the middle of NOWHERE and with limited majors. I'm sorry if I sound like a ******bag, but it's true. If they wanted to, they could've gone to UCM straight out of high school. Not surprisingly, kids at merced transfer out of there and go somewhere more urban. Can't blame them.

Had it crossed your mind that the middle of nowhere might be desirable for certain people?

I personally don't know why they would choose merced but whatever floats their boat. As you can tell, I am biased about UCM.

Freshh I personally don't understand why people make unsolicited dbag comments but whatever floats their boat. BTW any major from UCM is more valuable than the most prestigious art history degree. Good luck with that!

lol...trust me i'm not going to pursue art history after college. worry about your own future.

Sick burn, sstory.

UCM is University of California for the Messed-up
UCR is University of California for the Rejected

Seriously. I didnt even apply to UCR and they accepted me...

If you didn't apply to UCR and get accepted , does that mean you don't get in any other UC>??? (b/c you are guaranteed a spot in UC school as CA resident)

On the contrary. If he got into UCR without even applying, his stats were probably preety good and his chances in getting accepted to other UCs are probably preety good too.

I'll admit that I'm biased. UCM is still pretty new and has a long way to go to build its academic reputation. For now, I'm going to think it's a dud school. take it or leave it.
