If it get accepted into both, which one would be better for me to attend given that I don't have any preferences in terms of classes size or whatnot. I just want a strong school that can help me get into med school easier.

UCSD doesn't let everyone apply to med. school... which explains why their Med. School acceptance rate is so high. Just keep that in mind. If you take care of your business, then yeah. But there's always a chance that it might not work out for whatever reason. Although a school such as Cal is harder (GPA deflation), everyone that wants to apply can apply. So it's up to you to weigh the pros and cons.

hmmm... well which school would you say helps a student prep for the MCAT better.

also... when a school supposely have a strong pre-med, does that just mean they help you prep for the MCAT better? Or should i just go to an easier school and self-study for the MCAT if that is possible.

both are pretty equal, so i'd go with whichever school you like better and/or whichever school is cheaper. I do think UCSD is a better school for bio/med, but that also means that program is very very crowded.

I don't know of any public that "helps" you study for MCAT, or any similar test like LSAT or GRE. The stronger the program is at the college, chances are, the better prepared you'll be.
