<p>The colleges are merely RESIDENTIAL HALL areas. Beyond the differences in GEs and location there are no meaningful differences. Considering such a paucity of factors for comparison I don't understand how a college can be more prestigious than another.....well...Revelle's dungeon dorms don't project prestige -- that's certain.</p>

<p>I'm sure! Being forced to take upwards of 20 something classes that do not interest you will be a GPA depressant.</p>
<p>dude your going to 6th college if you do well in those extra classes then damn it will do wonders for your college record.</p>
<p>umm is it like impossible to transfer out of colleges or something? because if you hate your colege so much..shouldnt you transfer?</p>

<p>O man, i kind of randomly chose Revelle as my first choice because I heard it was prestigious, but now after all this talk....:( dungeon dorms and bad food, not to mention all the crazy GE's...can someone please help me reaffirm that revelle was a good choice??</p>
<p>I know someone who's very happy at revelle. ERC is almost as studious as Revelle..I'm happy going there...</p>
<p>revelle was my first choice and i got in so i'm happy about that but now that i'm reading about revelle in these forums, i'm kind of worried :( still going though :D WE WILL SURVIVE!</p>

<p>Revelle's dorms do suck, but I hear their food is the best. Also, Muir does not hold the lowest acceptance, it's Revelle. Revelle has the most GE reqs. Revelle was my last choice and I got in.</p>

<p>Revelle, majoring in molecular biology and yes it's my first choice. I quite like their GE requirements; it's similar to that of other liberal arts colleges which is what I initially want to go to.</p>
<p>The Revelle Argo/Blake residence halls are nice...it's just that the fleets are kind of crappy..the food is not too bad compared to some other places on campus (like sixth college's foodworx and warren's canyon vista)</p>
<p>i actually really likes the fleets - a lot. i've been hearing a lot of crap being talked about revelle but after admit day today i really loved it. i wasn't sure if i was going before i visited the campus BECAUSE of all the bad stuff that people say about it, but i absolutely love it now & i don't understand why anyone dislikes it at all.</p>
<p>lol i don't think revelle was one of my top choices either - but i didn't understand the whole different colleges thing when i applied.</p>
