I've been accepted to these three. I've been to SD twice and have liked what I've seen. But, I havent checked out the other two. Is there a reason to do so? Also, is the STD rumor about SB true?

Well, for starters, what do you want to major in? What type of college atmosphere do you prefer? How far away from home do you want to go to school? Etc, etc, etc.

Also... STD rumor about UCSB? What would that be? That everyone has STDs? Please do elaborate.

Well, I wanted a small school atmosphe but got rejected from 2 of three I applied to (the one accepting me could not meet my financial need). So that's out. So far from what I've seen from UCSD, I like that it's close to the beach and next to the city, but not IN the city. I've heard that Irvine is kinda boring.

I'll be a Computer Science major.

I've heard that the STD rate at SB is 1/3 of the students.

UCSD has the best Computer Science program out of the three schools.

I would definitely go to UCSD for Comp Sci

So is there any reason to go check them out or should I just accept my admission to UCSD?

definitely visit them and see how you like them...but keep in mind that UCSD has far better comp sci departments.

let's see, you're talking about where you'll spend the next 4 years of your life and the place that will form your college memories forever. Is it worth going to check out 2 other options before you decide? Gee, I dunno. I guess its how important making the best choice is to you.
