UCSD- Sixth College

I’m also currently a freshmen at Sixth living in the reshalls. It’s really nice! I’m sure you guys would love it here but in response to ^ the comment above, you have to bring your own mini fridge and microwave if you’re livign in the res hall but the apartments have a large fridge if you live there. Also there’s free cable and wifi. You could get free wifi, after you register your laptop on campus, almost everywhere so that’s realllyyy nice. But I would definitely recommend living in a reshall especially first year becuase its such an amazing experience. Also the people in sixth are very diverse and not “all artsy”. A lot of my suitemates now are all some sort of science major. I also like Sixth because its reshalls is a lot more open than the other colleges because there’s only one door that leads to living space as compared to the hallways that the other colleges have.

Um, not true.

lol… well that was just the impression I got from living in Sixth this year. Since we don’t have buildings with many suites inside we only have to open one door to get to the suite as compared to a building door then suite door.

^Oops. I was thinking you meant from the dorm rooms to the common room, not from outside to the suite. My bad. :(

yeah i plan on living in the reshalls.
but i am litttle confused, so do you get to know like everyone in your dorm building like a regular dorm?
and how many suitemates do you have?
