<p>Go to ERC and you will see a lot of attractive girls tanning in the grass. One thing I’ve noticed is that most of the hot one’s are in sports-soccer girls!</p>

<p>Actually, UCSD students do not “just” study, they also party like other students. If UCSD kids just “studied” I would think UCSD would be better “prestiged.”</p>
<p>UCSD offers more than just studying, it offers a lively campus, and fun if you know where to look for it and if you know how to start it.</p>
<p>Communities at UCSD depends on your social group, mainly the people you hang out with.</p>
<p>If you have fun studying, then your having a good time, if you prefer partying hardcore and such, there is always the greek life for you.</p>
<p>If you prefer both, they are all open for grabs.</p>
<p>UCSD social life isn’t that “great” as compared to SB, but the fun is still living and alive.</p>
<p>Plus, I think there are hot chicks everywhere @ UCSD when I visited! Haha. But I prefer UCLA chicks over UCSD, they just seem cuter and hotter @ UCLA than UCSD, then again, when i took a visit @ UCLA, all I saw were pretty ladies.</p>

<p>UCSD for life. I’m glad i’m attending here! I think having a midnight bonfire @ a beach with friends is consider an amazing event of fun! That’s what I did when I visited!</p>

the atmosphere of LA and SD are different, that’s why the girls look different.

<p>I think there is plenty of events going on. You just have to go out and look for it. Personally, according to my pro-con list (this obviously being from the pro side), it’s a huge relief that I wont have to deal with drunk, attention seeking, STD infected, druggy idiots (to say the least)…not as much anyway. Think about it.</p>

<p>You really think that there’s a lack of attractive people in a school with ~20,000 undergraduates? C’mon, I have friends that go to UCLA that tell me the girls are all little asian ■■■■■-gnomes but I have enough damn sense to know that that’s just stupid. Sure, there’s alot of girls that don’t exactly have their personal appearence as their highest priority. However, I have also met some of the most beautiful girls I’ve ever seen at UCSD and you know what? They all have substance to them. They’re not just pretty faces with no personality to speak of. They’re interesting, funny, INTELLIGENT(!)… You name it. This BS needs to stop now. The guys that tell this rumor and perpetuate it are the bitter idiots that can’t get any girl for themselves. </p>

<p>Having fun at UCSD, just like everything else in life, depends on YOU. YOU need to meet people. YOU need to get involved with groups and clubs. YOU need to actually put in effort. Parties won’t just come to you… (although that still is a possibility)</p>

Going to UCSB over UCSD would be asanine if you’re majoring in one of UCSD’s stronger points like bio-anything, cognitive science, or theatre. I really don’t know if you can say the same about going to SD over SB. Yeah, the physics department at SB is pretty hot but SD’s physics department is also one of the top in the world.</p>
<p>I think the only reason UCSD life sucks on some weekends is cause allot of the socal people go home on the weekends and most of the partying gets done off campus so those of us with no cars can’t really do much. Honestly I’ve been to UCD and I think that place is about as socially dead as UCSD even with a frat row… but seriously if you are really scared about becoming antisocial then rush for a fraternity, there’s no harm in rushing because you meet allot of people anyways and even if you don’t pledge you still see them around and chill with them and whatnot.</p>

<p>Triton Eye is a complete myth! I’ve been to a bunch of transfer events now, there were always a LOT of good looking girls, even the counselors were hot. It’s a complete myth, don’t buy into it.</p>
