<p>You have to "apply" for summer session. I had the same problem and had to call in. Apparently we're not considered proper students yet, so we have to apply. There's no application fee, however, and the application is as easy as clicking on the "apply" link which takes you to a page that says your application has been accepted. (;</p>
<p>I think you can find the link to the application under the instructions for non-UCSD students.</p>
