so, i'm planning on applying to ucb as a pure math major, and ucla as a math/econ major.

chance me.

gpa
fall frosh: 3.075
winter frosh: 3.600
spring frosh: 3.825
fall soph: 4.0 (predicted)
cum gpa: 3.60-3.65

prereqs complete already
ge will be complete by spring

finance internship this year at san diego

i know that gpa's not great, but its the best grade trend possible. if i explain it as "not being used to college atmosphere, but i learned from my experiences hence the much higher gpas afterward" will that be valid, or is that not good enough.

i just looked up math/econ transfer to ucla and that's like a 75% acceptance rate. so even though i'm a uc transfer, i have a good shot right?

and berk, well, you guys think i just have a slim chance? or a decent one?

i've posted about my chances before, but situation is a little different. any feedback is much appreciated.
