Hey everyone I'm at a community college right now and i have a 3.5 GPA. I was wondering: do you think I'm going to have a really hard time at UCSD since I got a 3.5 in highschool and like everyone at UCSD has ..oh like obove a 4.0? I'm afraid that its going to be too hard and too much competition..i just want some of your thoughts? Or should i just go to UCSB? Will I have more or a life there?
Thanks y'all! :)

If you are willing to work go to the one you like the best, they would not have accepted you if they didn't think you would be succesful! Let us know what you decide

You will have more of a life at either school than at a CCC. ;)

This really depends on some factors you need to decide on:

Santa Barbara or San Diego (both are beautiful, but SB is more of a party school)

What is your major? Does one school or the other have more to offer that major.

Here's the thing..never decide if you can handle the workload of a school...most student's out there can excel at any school...with the caveat they are self-motivated.

Thank you for your response! They havn't really accepted me yet..but i have a transfer guarentee to go to either one. I'm willing to work hard but i really don't want to study 50 hours a week..u know.

Was 3.5 your UC weighted hs GPA? 3.5 at CC should do fine at either.

My major is psychology..and I think SD is better in that field. But the difference is with SD they want me to take more biology and chemestry (like i'm going for pre-med) and at SB you are required to take more psychololgy type of classes.
