I also want to point out that the inconsistencies of the admissions staff are due to the fact they are students. They have no idea what is going on. They just say things to appease. Probably what they were told to say

Ah. That makes sense.

@eastbaytransfer It’s unfortunate that you think people are trolling because they’re telling they were accepted. comments like those keep people from giving information. So you’re aware, my portal was updated yesterday and I didn’t receive an email until this morning.

@cjeh19 No reason to be so defensive, I believe I was justified with my suggestion. Watch your attitude.

Edit: Also I was asking if it was possible, guy. Wasn’t directly accusing. Read the way I worded it.

Dammit so many 3.3x’s got pulled off the waitlist last year. What happened this year?!

More people applied, more competitive year

@eastbaytransfer is that a fact or an assumption?

Fact. Don’t have the link but 16k or something like that applied this year, which is more than last year by I think a thousand or so

Damn.
Still, I’m keeping my hopes up for our next batch of acceptance!

Me too. 2012 had similar stats applications wise and some 3.3xs got in. I think we can dismiss any pattern as far as when admissions will be released. Hope we get in otherwise I’m at UCSB lol

Nothing again today. Ugh. Anyone hear anything today?

Nothing today for me either. I have lost hope.

Same here.

It’s unfortunate to hear you guys lost hope.
You shouldn’t lose hope until you actually physically witness the rejection.

I still don’t think the 2nd major batch of decisions were released, maybe a small amount trickled the past couple days. I feel like more people on here would’ve been notified.

in 2012, people were hearing back on June 13th and after. There are some really good gpa’s and applicants still on waitlist, i’m like 90% sure there’s still another batch coming. don’t lose hope everyone:) The wait will be worth it when we get into our dream school.

IF I get accepted off the waitlist the first thing Ill ask during the orientation would b: ytf the waitlist process takes forever to give us an answer.

@Cdelta I dare you to!

I am actually heading down to UCSD today to pick my friend up. Would it make any difference if I went to the admissions office in person?

@DidIGetInYet I’m sure the entire College Confidential’s UCSD transfer waitlist 2014 section would greatly appreciate if you’d ask them questions regarding possible number of waitlist pull offs and gpa cutoff’s and what not.
