update: the admissions office closed today at 4 pm and I will not be staying in SD over night, so I guess I can’t go in person.

The. Wait. Is. Killing me.

Y do these decisions come out in batches? Its like there’s a waitlist to get off the waitlist

The wait is killing me too. If i cant decide where im going, i cant get an appartment on time, and i cant book my airticket, and i cant even make a freaking plan…

Has anyone gotten accepted/rejected today, or do we wait for 3:16 pm? It seems that is the time that most people receive an email from admissions. Meanwhile, I guess Ill watch some Game of Thrones while I wait.

if I hear back today and get in I’ll run down my street naked. I just want the wait to be over!

We are almost halfway through June and this still isn’t over. Does anyone know if we can appeal if we are denied off of the wait list

Everybody just calm down lol. I contacted ucsd and they told me that decisions should be out next week or the week after. Maybe even today or Friday they do not know…but it should be before June 25th. So just chill out, the ucsd rep said they still have a lot of decisions to send out so it’s most likely most of us have already been accepted they just haven’t told us yet. She told me to rest assured I will get a decision soon and most likely most of us should get in. So just relax, and wait for that email hopefully tomorrow or if not in the coming weeks of June! x)

Thanks! @kyle2015 for helping subside the growing anxiety caused by this thread! Most people are writing such negative assumptions and you helped relieve some of that stress :)

I’m not sure if you guys saw this, but I posted this in the official ucsd decisions thread yesterday, and it might be good news depending on how well I remembered what the lady said:

Hey, this may be a little late, but I remember that a lady I talked to like a couple weeks back said that the cut off GPA last year was “really low” / “very low” (I forgot her exact words). She said that it was 3.135 (Yes, she gave it up to 3 decimal places). I am not sure if that’s correct because a couple days later, someone posted that the cut-off was 3.3. However, from what I can remember, I heard 3.135. I’m also starting to remember that she put me on hold before she told me that GPA.

I called back a couple days later to try to confirm if I heard correctly, but a different person answered and said that he/she didn’t know. Because of that, I thought I didn’t have enough evidence to post here on college confidential. But, since many people are trying to figure out the cut-off GPA, I decided, I’ll just post anyway (just don’t rely on my post too much – maybe I did hear 3.315 instead of 3.135.

@Bhav007 Have you made your decision yet? I only have an hour left just because of my housing situation!

^ You have not decided yet lol, what’s keeping you from going to UCSD?!

@Bolandgoo I’m not enthusiastic about very SD. I like UCLA better.

I’ve just made the biggest mistake of my life!

Where are u from?! Where do u live right now?
I live and work in Westwood area, close to UCLA, and I’m sick of here…I didn’t even apply for UCLA, just want to get out of here! lol
which one did u choose finally?

@collegedropout1

What did you do?

@CollegeDropout1

What happened?

@kyle2015 what you said—> " She told me to rest assured I will get a decision soon and most likely most of us should get in." That is very, very comforting and I personally thank you for contacting them.

I hope what they told kyle2015 is true.

@CollegeDropout1, I decided to go to UC Davis. I submitted the SIR decline inquiry yesterday (from the “Contact us if you have questions.” part of the page. It seems as they haven’t yet looked at the submission though.
