What major did you guys apply for at UCSD?

I'm thinking maybe the biological/chemical science majors are the only ones that haven't heard of their admission status.

I'm an out of state applicant at virginia tech, gpa is 3.33....not that great but I hope they take into account the school I'm at. I thought that I might as well try applying because I know that I would regret it if I didn't. Anyways I hope we're both accepted! hehe....

Cardinal, I am an English major as well. I didn't quite know what to make of UCSD's major divisions for literature. Did you choose "Literatures in English?"

molecular bio. muir. if you haven't gotten a letter pf acceptance try checking the website b/c thats how i found out. i haven't gotten a letter yet.

Got into Warren for communications

anyone know anything about the comm program there?

Knicks135 - VTech is a good school...why do you want to go to UCSD?

Well, I'm not transferring because of academic reasons. I know that VT is a pretty good engineering school but socially I feel out of place here. It's not really diverse here(mostly caucasian) and also it's in the middle of nowhere. So pretty much if you don't like to party and drink there's nothing to do around here when you want to have some fun and relax (i don't drink). I feel that a change of surroundings would make me happier...and also ucsd engineering isn't too bad either.
