The only reason I did all my lower divs at CCC is money. But that’s because I’m poor, if you’re not poor it’s really no big deal.

So anyone use their new student emails lately?

w.t.f?? what email…i didnt get anything…

i thought we get it mid-june?

Is anyone here going to the Sungod festival later today?

O_O you can go even if you’re not going to UCSD yet?

Normally when I go to shows there, I take my friend’s or my cousin’s I.D. card to get in, but since they’re all going… I had to cough up forty bucks for a ticket.

I’ll be in the library!

…

Me too… until 3ish. Ha! I’ll probably be on the 4th floor with all the Korean and Japanese textbooks at Giesel. See you there?

Wouldn’t mind going to Sungod but I have exams today…so fun.

As for student email, if you submitted SIR, you can go to the Academic Computing Service website link on your myapplication. If you don’t know your email, click the link that says you don’t know it, and it’ll show you your email ie (xxxxxxxxx@ucsd.edu). You might need to reset your password and then finally you can receive and use your UCSD emails.

I don’t know if this works if you didn’t submit SIR. Happy emailing.

Care to sell me on SunGod? What goes on? Why is it worth 40 bucks?

@Jenn: Nope! I’m usually on 7th.

UC_Transfer,

It’s too quiet up on the floor – you can hear the person sitting across the room breathing. No thanks.

kkiiji,

Sun God Festival is the most anticipated event of the year at UCSD. Three stages with numerous bands and artist performing starting from noon to midnight. This year, N.E.R.D. is going to be there. Apparently, everyone wants to see them. There’s other bands, but I’m not too sure who they are? Perhaps, I live in a bubble.

Anywho – once you go to UCSD, you’ll blend in with the hype about the festival. It’s the one event that the majority of the study body attend, half of which will probably be drunk or high. Plus, it’s free.

Wait but you just said it costs 40 bucks! :(

my friend goes to ucsd right now. and from what i remember…students get one free ticket for themselves, and two free guest passes. but any additional ticket costs 40 bucks.

ya, what laker said. I don’t go to UCSD, I’m a guest… I’ll be at the other UC school in LA this fall.

Going! About to head out! Hahaha. I got in for free, holla. [: My friend rocks!

Anyways, have fun everyone that is going!!! [:

So how was the Sun God Festival?

forget on campus housing!! get a roommate find a complex by school which there is like a billion of them and get a better deal. i live in regents and its an AWESOME complex absolutely beautiful for pretty much the same price (i mean don’t forget all the pluses you get with it)

^^^ Is on campus housing that bad? I mean, I wouldn’t mind staying on campus to experience that “university experience” for at least one year. I do however plan to stay off campus after my first year.

the transfer dorms are like prison cells but smaller… Have fun in hell ug 10 people sharing 2 showers!!!
