I'm REALLY confused between GTech n UCSD.......i'll b in-state at UCSD.....and I have no family 4 miles if I come 2 GTech....also as an OOS my financila aid at GTech will b uncertain (i'm gettin a gud package 4 my freshman yr but beleiv me I'll need an equally gud 1 for all 4 yrs)......nd my major is mostly gonna b MECH engr.....(or definitely sum form of engr )

Stay in California. By your use of grammar alone, I don't think you could hack the rigor of GT.

I hope you were intoxicated or under medical sedation when you wrote your post, cooladu. Unless it's some new brand of English we East Coaster s haven't picked up yet...

I have a cousin at UCSD and I'm going to Tech. When he visited Tech, he kept saying things like, "Oh, we have the same thing at UCSD", or "Yea, my college also has it". He said it isn't much different, but he'd rather go to Tech because he likes Atlanta better than San Diego. I think both schools are pretty good, but if you're doing Engineering, Georgia Tech has a slight advantage.

If you look at the costs, however, GT may not be worth for you. UCSD should be 16k for you, and Georgia Tech will be about 30k, plus tickets from California-Atlanta-California.

And if you haven't submitted your admissions deposit for Georgia Tech already, your decision has already been made for you: UCSD. If you got in through the waitlist, then I hope you make the best possible decision.
