UCSD Vs UCSB

Just got accepted to both UCSD and UCSB for Economics which University has a better undergraduate Economics program?

UCSD has a better known economics program with Nobel laureates on the faculty and better connections to industry.

Actually, UCSB has more Nobel prices winner professors than UCSD. UCSD only has 5 Nobel prices winners and UCSB has 6. Additionally, if I am not mistaken, UCSB has a Nobel price economist within their staff. Double check this just to be sure! About which school is better for economics, I would say probably UCSD, but only because historical they have overpreformed UCSB in ranking, but if you check the ranking now, UCSB is actually outperforming UCSD. Tacking everything into account, I would still chose UCSD, because of its historical ranking record and because you could potentially be able to get a better internships in UCSD - basically because it’s located in a lager city than SB.
