I was surprised to have not come across any other Human Bio majors on this site.
The CS waitlist is generally last - they definitely decide by major.

@chloesalem Wow congrats!!! I figured they hadn’t started admitting off the CS waitlist yet since nobody had posted yet but I guess they did. Guess anyone who’s still waiting probably isn’t getting in then, unless Cal and UCLA start admitting people off their waitlist for CS…
For any future transfers reading this: if this is my last post then it means I didn’t get off the waitlist. Guess my GPA was too low for them to accept me. Oh well.
@Arandomname the transfer conditions seem like the same as other schools (send in test scores, transcripts, maintain 3.0 gpa, atleast 2.0 for spring, having certain courses done, etc) I have to accept by the 23th.
My gpa was 3.82 (3.85 now)
I’ve gotten straight A’s the pass year (two A-) though, and took two extra CS classes my last semester. Somewhat shocked because NONE of my CS classes articulate with UCSD’s on assist.org
@chloesalem wow, my gpa was 3.85 but now it drops too low. I got both my linear algebra and my physics (electricity and magnetism) C in my last semester. That’s why I was concern about the transfer condition. Thank you anyway!
It is not all about GPA. My Gpa total is 3.9 transferable 3.93, and major GPA 4, but have not got an offer.
Since some CS applicants already got in, the chance should not be much anymore. Since I have no other offers, I will be waiting and preparing for next year.
They’ll let everyone know when they’re done admitting from the waitlist. I’d wait until the end of the week if I were you.

@uwdreamerxx Yeah, definitely. You will see a message on your portal that they are done taking people from the waitlist. I don’t know if you would get an email about it or not.
