Hello!

I'm instate and I was accepted to both. I know that alot of instate kids choose SJU or UD and I know alot of in-state kids aren't on here but could you give me your opinion? Which would be better for a Business degree? Particulary in Marketing. I visited SJU for a Campus Experience and I wasn't a big fan, mainly because it's smaller and the people I weren't a big fan of. I've grown up around UD and it's also cheaper since I'm instate versus a private $45,000 tutition. OPINIONS?

Sounds like you've already answered your question. In your words, SJU is smaller, more expensive, and you didn't care for the people. I don't know about marketing in particular, but UD is an excellent choice all around.

If you are planning to stay in the area, then a degree from UofD has more value. UofD has a post graduation job placement rate of 90%+, and that is primarily due to the large alumni network. And in Delaware the mantra is: Hire Delaware first.

I am from PA and moved here a few years ago, and that is something that non-Delawareans learn quick. Even a degree from the community and technical schools in Delaware have a value in-state.
