udel vs. umd in business programs

hey, i heard from some people today that univeristy of delaware's main focus is business, and i was wondering if their business was better than maryland's or penn state's. also, if anyone has any idea on what delaware's business is like, could you please tell me a little about it? thanks!

UMD's Smith School of Business is ranked 13th in the nation in Business. I highly doubt that UDel and PSU can compete with UMD.

PSU is tied in the US news ranking with Maryland ( i believe at 18 in 2005)

UMD is a good school but really it's MASSIVE. College Park and University Park are huge. You'll get more attention @ Delaware.

Yeah - but the alumni network for jobs is huge at PSU and UMD as well. UMD is great for interships. Guess if you're interested in banking UDe would have some good internships with the banking centers in Wilmington. I thought UDe was supposed to be big in marine science and agricultural science. I loved the campus and have a dear friend there who loves it - he's a combo physics and philosophy major - interesting mix - eh? Newark is a great little town and the campus is beautiful - but their dental school feed is slim to none - which makes it #3 for me - I got into UMD and PSU for fall - and I'm thinking Terps unless major $ shows up from Delaware.

That's cool - at this point they are all fairly equal and the education is going to be what you make of it. That said, I had a friend that went to Penn Dental from UDelaware. Good luck:)
