UF chances? Major legacy..

<p>Stats:</p>

<p>After junior year summer I will have a uf weighted gpa of 4.02
Haven't taken act / sat yet
My great grandmother was the first woman enrolled at UF
My grandfather was the dean of the UF college of engineering and has his portrait hanging in the engineering hall
125 hours of community service
VP of company that sells a device for handicapped people or amputees to put up their hair with 1 hand ( nominated for international award, have many international customers)
4 year varsity athlete
Work as desk help and gymnastics coach
Starting my own club next year (beginning of senior year)
Doing an internship this summer under a woman who is the president of a telecommunication company and founder of a NYC non profit
Also interning under the VP of Raymond James (financial institute)
Will have taken 4 aps, 3 aice, and 6 de classes before my senior year
8th generation Floridian </p>

<p>I am a mostly b student and have slacked off in pervious years but my grades do have an upward trend, I guess what I want to know is how much my legacy will play a role and if I have a good chance of acceptance, and what term should I apply for?</p>

<p>If you want your family history to help you get in, you need to have someone in your family talk to people they know at UF to look for your application and help you in… On your actual application, the admissions officers only see that you had a parent and a grandparent who went to UF. There is just a code they see for if you had at least 1 immediate family member and another code for at least 1 extended family member who went to UF. They won’t look at who those people were unless someone talks to them about it.</p>
