@CrazyDad9 I think that is a great back up plan. You can’t go wrong either way. My S got in great schools but for some reason was only offered summer at FSU. He basically views that as a rejection since we are out of state and it would be moving down immediately after high school graduation He isn’t willing to give up his senior summer that easily. I wish we had FSU fall as our back up plan right now. Best of luck to you and nice move on the Seminole gear

I agree with you about the grad school thing, but if we are not going to grad school, then I rec going to the best university/school you can get in. And yes, I have four kids!

@CrazyDad9 Based on your son’s major, he may find that FSU has a stronger program. FSU is particularly strong in the liberal arts.

I have four children.

@beach1234 Starting school, in Summer B is a popular choice for in-state students. All the kids that I know that did it, loved it. It’s easier and less stressful making friends, getting used to college classes and learning your way around campus. They also do a lot of activities for the kids in the summer.

Also, keep in mind that the State of Florida has a 9 Semester Hour Summer Enrollment Requirement. You can get most of that out of the way before starting in the fall.

EDIT: with that being said, neither of my kids did it, they both worked the summer and started in the fall.

I am 100% in agreement with you, but unfortunately my kid does not see it that way.

Less than 3 hours!

@gatormom18 My productivity was wayyyy low today. I just want it to be over either way so we can come to terms and make our plans. The wait is dreadful.

God I hope no one is tracking my internet use today…

@danielle6849 I literally laughed out loud. So true! I’m a junky!

does anyone know if decisions come out earlier than 6pm

normally comes out about 30 minutes early. it was 5:24 last year.

Thanks @2018jack

Unfortunately, it could matter, but a lot of times going forward in life it justdoesntmatta!

anxiety!!!

I wonder if they will come out early again this year or not because of the record number of applicants…

Clicking refresh every 5 seconds

We are not looking until y’all start looking…so y’all better start posting PDQ!

I am however, betting on a no. If I win I don’t have to cook dinner and we get to enjoy National Pizza Day. If I am wrong and it is a yes, I promised to make bananas foster. We have 25 admissions decisions between two kids in our house to date, so far I have been wrong twice.

@labegg What are your 'yes"'s so far?
