UF Engineering Grad School Accepting UF Undergrads

I currently live out of state up north, which means that I am paying out of state tuition… my parents are moving down to florida to establish residency, so I can have in-state tuition…if I went to grad school anywhere other than florida it would mean I pay more out of state tuition, which i don’t think we can afford. That is why I NEED to get into grad school in florida…if I dont get into UF or UCF –> I don’t go to grad school. I dont want to get a phD so i likely will not get grad school funding (that is why cost is a concern)

Thanks for the input rogracer

You can get funding as a masters candidate…especially as a TA. So it would be worth it to apply to a variety of programs to explore your options. Another possibility is to get a job with a company that is willing to fund your masters (many will).

Yea I am trying to get the master’s right out of undergrad because I think that if I ever start to work for a company I would never ever want to go back to school, so I might as well get it over with…and as for the master’s funding, I will keep my options open. But I would love to live on the coasts (Florida, California) because I am a big outside person haha
