UF Grad School?

<p>Hey guys,</p>

<p>I was curious - is it harder to get into UF grad school if you do not have a undergrad degree from UF? I my B.A. in Anthropology (Archaeology) and am very aware of how good the program is at UF for Meso-American studies. I'm torn, however, between UF and potentially getting into UCF's Honor's Program (I'm unsure if this will pull through though). I'm not sure that I would even consider going into UCF's Honors program if I stood a lesser chance of gaining UF grad school admission. Thoughts?</p>

<p>Departments generally prefer to admit grad students who were NOT undergrads at their institution. The thinking seems to be that it is better professionally for the student to be exposed to a greater variety of professors.</p>
