UF Honors

Hello all, I was curious about my chances of getting in to the UF Honors college.

My UF GPA is 4.45 (I think, I was told at an invitational thing over the summer that pre calc and spanish 1 honors dont count as honors weight, so i assumed that in my calculation. Also only used up through end of junior year as I was told)
and my SAT superscored is 2070.
I know I meet the invitation requirements, but from what I understand that does not mean that I will be admitted to the honors college.

Other info:
Currently taking 4 ap classes and 1 AICE class (spanish), though I will have 5 ap classes total this year because macro and us gov are 1 semester each. In addition I have been in band since 6th grade and have earned some distinction here (most notably, all state my sophomore year). Jazz band is my other course.
I've been in national honors society, and I was in boy scouts but didn't make eagle; I'll be graduating summa from my high school if that makes any difference.

I'm just curious what my shots are considering that I don't have a plethora of extracurricular activities. I'm thinking they'll realize what a time commitment band can be, but I'm just concerned that I won't make the honors cut because I don't have 17 different clubs and special projects listed, despite increasing academic rigor. (currently in ap calc 2, ap physics, ap lit, ap macro, aice spanish, had ap gov last semester, and then aforementioned bands)

If it comes down to it, I can write a pretty good essay.

Anyway, thanks for your time, if you have any info on their admissions and what it takes then your knowledge would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: Also I have all a's in those classes this year, and over 100 community service hours

You’ll probably get in. Honestly it’s really easy to get in. Not really worth all the time they make you put into it to stay in really (lots of classes that you probably don’t need if you’re coming in with a lot of AP credit). The people in it are all really nerdy but if those are your kind of people then you’ll make friends easily. Also, you don’t have to be in the Honors College to graduate with honors.
