I wouldn’t imagine it is a competitive program to get into. I’d say, you have a good chance, as long as you have all of the required prerequisite courses.
Haven’t seen many updates regarding transfer admission decisions for the college of journalism and communication. Anyone know when I should expect an answer?
When should Bussiness transfers expect an answer-back, I’m talking about specifically general business administration. Is it possible to hear back toward the end of October, or is it set that nov 10th will be the day I will hear back?
@Gjumper Does it matter, that the college just received some of my exam scores? Because my application was sent the end of August and received everything before the application deadline, including my file being under review, except for the one transcript of exam scores. So does that delay my answer back or what matters really is that application has been sent, on top of my college transcript.
Hey guys
GPA: 2.95
School:Hillsborough Community College
Major:Telecommunications
I applied a few weeks before the Spring deadline. I am about to finish my AA (60 credits) and have completed most of my prerequisites for the program except American Government (which I am currently completing). The program only requires a 2.5 GPA. I have several withdraws from a certain semester due to my living situation changing. I want to say I feel fine about it, the state does guarantee admission for students that are transferring with an AA degree. I just want to have insight, because i have been working hard to go to school at UF.
I’m just applying for general business administration, I just would like to hear back soon. But I know it takes at least a month after the application deadline.
@Melissa96 I was denied with a 3.6 GPA and a 4.0 Critical Tracking GPA due to not being a “competitive applicant.” I know people who were accepted with GPAs below 3.5 in the political science program. How could this be?
I know for anthropology, I had to complete certain courses to be a “competitive transfer.” Did you check your degree track to verify you have everything to be a competitive transfer?
