UF Transfer from out of state school

Hey everybody,

I am a student at the University of Connecticut (Pre-Med) 3.75 GPA, trying to transfer to the University of Florida for Summer A 2010. I have recently become a Florida Resident, as I have lived in West Palm Beach for over a year. At UConn, I have done a lot of volunteer work, including teaching health topics to homeless individuals at a soup kitchen weekly, and helping to start a student-run fund for the family of a slain football player (Jasper Howard). I am also a mentor for Freshmen, and was a TA for a Freshmen University Learning Skills Class. I also have a special case, because my brother is learning disabled and he lives in Florida, so I am basically transferring into Florida so I can be closer to my brother.

What do you think my chances are?

1320 SATS (600 CR/720 M)
I don’t know if this matters

Thank you everyone

anybody, please?

yes you will likely get in if your gpa is the same at the end of spring and you have all the pre-req for the major you choose

DENIED, their tranfer acceptance rate is close to 0. If you have 60 lower division credits, and florida residency, graduate from a CC. Then you are automatically accepted to a non limited program. Also you will need the pre reqs of the program for ex. engineers need calc 3 and phy2
