hey question, are transfers still required to complete all gen. ed. at UF?

I assume the answer is no for AA…but what about transfers from uni?
UF requires 1 more humanity and those international diversity things, do I still have to complete those?

I called CLAS, they have a pre-recorded message stating that all transfer admission decisions (keep in mind this is for CLAS) should be finalized by May 8th.

yeah my page changed and the ISIS got update and everything. Also for everyone, I didnt realize it but to get credit for your AP credits you have to have them officially sent from collegeboard, which costs a min of 15 bucks. I saw my hours and was like where did they all go but for anyone else in that situation thats what you gotta do.

Just found out tonight. It was an especially wonderful surprise since I had just prepared myself for another week of waiting, as CLAS had noted. Anyway, I want to thank you all for keeping this discussion going and embracing the crazyness we all seemed to go through during the waiting process. Hope to see some of ya at orientation!

I know civil / industrial got their letters but electrical / computer are not out yet. I was told that they should be out May 15th. Im waiting to hear for electrical.

I finally called the Department of Engineering last friday, and they told that my request was cleared for admission on April 20th (imagine that since APRIL 20TH!!!),and that they were waiting for the Dean to sign my request and make my admission official. Just call the department guys, hopefully they will give you an answer as well.

I called ECE today and was told to email the undergrad program assistant.

Guess the rest of the people got their decisions and they left this thread to die. Only use engineers left. Not to many of us in the first place.

Ha- not just engineers left- Im still waiting on the college of ag! ugh, I have lost my excitement now and now I would just like to know so I can make my plans!
