I've been browsing this forum for awhile now and just decided to make an account! I had a question about the transfer process from a state CC to UF (Warrington-Marketing). I saw online that it said "ALL students will be accepted that meet minimum requirement". Can anyone confirm this? All I have to do is get a min. 3.0 GPA and 3.5 PREPROF and I'm in? That sounds absurd compared to people who have high test/GPA getting rejected...I guess that's how the cookie crumbles though. Hopefully someone enrolled in Warrington or that has experience with this can let me know!

P.S- What's your thoughts on the new coach (fb)

Looks right to me. There’s certain laws that guarentee your university admission if you come from a community college. The university has very little interest in admitting students transfering from other universities (since they could just finish their degree there) but does have to provide some opportunity to continue from a community college. I know that if you arn’t coming from a CC, you have absolutely no chance at Warrington.

Yeah the way it says ALL in caps makes me think that’s the case. Why don’t you email that transfer admissions coordinator that has her email listed there on the right of the page? I’m sure she’ll confirm that for you.

Yeah as long as you meet the requirements you’re accepted. I asked an advisor last year and she confirmed it. They lowered the pre-professional GPA requirement… It used to be 3.7.
