Warrington Undergrad

So I'm hopefully going to be submitting my transfer application for Spring 2012 tomorrow. Has anyone else submitted one for fall or spring? I was curious as to how long it takes to hear back from them.

To my understanding they have an automatic acceptance policy when your a Community college transfer with a 3.0 overall GPA and 3.5 preprof GPA I'm hoping this streamlines the
admissions decision. I've been waiting for what feels like forever so I'm getting more and more anxious.

Would love to hear from some current Warrington students about the admissions process or just the college :)

I don’t really know how the transfer process goes but I am currently going into my second year with the WCBA (FSOA but I am still really involved with the Warrington). I just have to say that it is a GREAT school as it provides so many opportunities for its students. My advice is to get involved as soon as possible because the organizations are what will really enrich and complement your undergrad career. :)

I had a 3.91 transfer GPA and they never got back to me. I had to call them and hound them to go over my transcripts… So I had a bit of a rollercoaster ride. Submit your transcripts - and call back in a week to make sure they got them. Call one of the Business Admissions folks and let them know how important it is to go to UF… and perhaps send an e-mail. Just know that I had the lowest college GPA in the orientation session I was in… So it might be difficult if you’re in the lower 3.0 range.

You are only guaranteed acceptance into a Florida university - not necessarily UF. I would apply to at least one back-up.

That being said - going to UF was the best decision I’ve ever made. It wasn’t easy - but well worth it. Keep fighting to get in, make them recognize your name, and don’t give up!

Good luck!
