Hi, I want to transfer to UF in Summer 2019
I currently have an overall GPA of 3.9, will either be a 3.91 or 3.93 after this semester and still have fall semester too.
I have a major GPA (classes in my major) of 4.0 and will remain that way
I have a prerequisite gpa of 3.83 which will either be a 3.88 or 3.9 after this semester and still have fall semester too.
IDK if they look at the breakdown of the GPA or not, but figured I would provide it.
I am a public health major, and will have my AA (associates degree) from University of South Florida
I will also have all the recommended classes done and specific prerequisites from UF
I was wondering what my chances of getting in are and how many transfer students get in, and how many public health transfer students get accepted.
Well, looking at the 2016 UF Annual Admission report (for Summer B 2015 to Summer A 2016):
Health and Human Performance: 653 applicants, 214 Admits
Health Professions: 286 Applicants, 78 Admits
The “Bachelor of Public Health” program is a limited access program, so it’s very selective. The Bachelor of Health Sciences program is not limited access, so it’s easier to transfer into.
